Meet Your Guide

Welcome! I'm Jenna.

I'm the founder of Wild Whimsy Connections, a certified forest therapy guide, and an intuitive facilitator with a deep love for the natural world and the mysteries that connect us.

I've always been drawn to the places where earth and spirit meet. The quiet intelligence of the forest. The symbols and synchronicities that catch our attention. The stories we carry, the ones we create, and the ones that seem to find us.

Through Wild Whimsy, I bring these interests together in guided nature experiences, intuitive and spiritual exploration, and creative practices that invite curiosity, reflection, and connection.

I believe we each have our own way of experiencing wonder. I'd love to help you discover yours.

How Wild Whimsy Came to Be

It started with an unraveling.

There was a time in my life when many of the things I had built my identity around began to fall away. The life I knew was changing, and I found myself questioning what I believed, what I wanted, and who I was becoming. In the midst of that uncertainty, I kept returning to the woods.

The forest offered space to wander, to feel, to notice, and to be present with whatever was unfolding. I began paying closer attention to the natural world and to myself. The rhythm of the seasons, the resilience of living things, and the quiet beauty of ordinary moments became companions through a period of profound change.

As I trained to become a certified forest therapy guide, my relationship with nature deepened. So did my interest in intuition, spiritual connection, and the ways we experience things that are difficult to explain.

I've long been curious about symbolism, energy, ancestral connections, and the unseen threads that seem to weave through our lives. Exploring these experiences has become an important part of my own spiritual path, one that continues to evolve.

Creativity has been another constant. Writing, journaling, and making things from what I find in nature help me explore ideas, emotions, and experiences that words alone sometimes struggle to hold.

Over time, I began to see how these different parts of my life belonged together.

Where Earth, Soul, and Story Meet

Wild Whimsy grew from three ways of connecting with ourselves and the world around us.

Earth is where we return to our senses, explore the living world, and rediscover the joy of being outside. Through Whimsy Walks and Wandering Wonders, I invite people of all ages to slow down and experience nature with fresh curiosity.

Soul is where we explore intuition, spiritual connection, and the mysteries of our inner lives. Through experiences like Inner Knowing and Letters Across the Veil, I offer space for personal reflection and exploration of intuitive impressions.

Story is where observation becomes expression. Through nature journaling, mandala making, and other creative experiences, we explore what catches our attention and what we feel inspired to create.

Each path offers a different way into wonder. You're welcome to follow whichever one calls to you.

The Poem That Started It All

Wild Whimsy takes its name from a poem I wrote after a solo hike through the Catskill Mountains during my forest therapy guide training. I spent two days walking alone, carrying the experiences of a life that had changed dramatically and wondering what might come next. Somewhere along that journey, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and trees, I began to see the beauty in the uncertainty. When I finished the hike, I wrote The Wild Whimsy. It became a reflection of everything I had been moving through and everything I was beginning to discover. It eventually became the name of this little world I'm creating, and an invitation to anyone who feels called to wander into it.

The Wild Whimsy

Feet to earth and eyes to sky

Cresting falls of crystal lies

Cleanse, renew, unveil the key

The wild whimsy calls to me

I walk alone, flesh and bone

Arrive the maiden, mother, crone

Now, my soul kaleidoscopes

Vision spins to dreams and hopes

Valleys of doubt are peaks of trust

Grief and guilt, it turns to dust

I see beyond, I see within

My breath, my power shift the wind

Eyes to sky and feet to earth

Roots and rivers, my rebirth

Strength of spirit, all can see

I become the wild whimsy
